It has been a month of lively activity at ACGR, which is set to continue as we inch closer to our second National Meeting for 2023 and the end of the year. In October we delivered another successful iteration of the Graduate Research Leadership Program to an engaged cohort of attendees. We would like to thank all those who contributed to the program and the members of the Executive Committee who worked to ensure the contents of the program were insightful and thought provoking.
In pursuit of ACGR’s strategic objective to ensure that graduate research in Australia both leads and responds to international trends, needs and best practice, October saw these efforts actualised through the successful convening of the CGS Global Summit hosted by RMIT, and the ACGR Internationalisation of Graduate Research Symposium hosted by Monash University. Both events provided unique opportunities to engage with our international colleagues, learn from shared experiences, and develop ongoing collaborations.
With two short weeks to our second National Meeting for 2023, we encourage you all to register as spaces are filling quickly. We also take this opportunity to remind you of the AGM to be held on Day 2 of the National Meeting where we will announce the three new members of the ACGR Executive Committee for 2024. We would like to thank and congratulate all those who nominated for the available positions.
We look forward to seeing you all at the National Meeting.
Best regards
Imelda Whelehan, ACGR President
Tracy Sullivan, Executive Director
