Professor Lisa Fletcher

Professor Lisa Fletcher is Interim Academic Lead for College of Arts, Law and Education and Pro Vice-Chancellor for Graduate Research at the University of Tasmania.
Lisa has worked at the University of Tasmania since 2004, including as Head of School of Humanities. Her research examines contemporary literary culture and industry, with a focus on the place of novels in the 21st century. Her most recent book, co-authored with Elizabeth Leane, is Space, Place and Bestsellers: Moving Books, published by Cambridge University Press.
She is a member of the board of the Story Island Project (https://storyislandproject.org/).
