It’s hard to believe July is already here. With half of 2023 behind us, we look forward to a full program of ACGR events in the coming months. In particular, we encourage members to save the date for several major upcoming events (registrations to open in mid-July):
- ACGR National meeting 2/2023 and AGM: November 13th and 14th (online)
- Internationalisation of Graduate Research Symposium: October 25th (Face-to-face at Monash University)
- ACGR 2023 Graduate Research Leadership Program: October 17th and 18th (online)
This month’s update showcases the achievements of the ACGR Awards for Excellence winners highlighting the calibre of the work being undertaken across the graduate research community, along with an overview of the student led wellbeing program developed at the University of Sydney presented by Professor Louise Sharpe.
As we move into the second half of the year, we also look ahead to the release of the Australian Universities Accord interim findings. This will present another opportunity for ACGR to work with our members to keep the voice of graduate research present in this ongoing conversation.
Prompting discussion on all issues graduate research is a key pillar of ACGR’s mission. With this in mind we’re interested in hearing suggestions from members on future profiles, discussion topics and content for the ACGR Impact Blog (please email Charlotte Mitchell, our Digital Communications and Member Engagement Coordinator).
