Entering the final stages of 2022 and with our National Conference fast approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to all ACGR member representatives and especially those on our Executive for the diverse and valued contributions so generously provided over the course of the year.
It has been a very busy year, one that has seen lively, informed and insightful engagement amongst members on ACGR’s diverse range of activities. We have enjoyed excellent attendance and engaged discussion at all of our events and meetings. We have also received thoughtful and pragmatic input on our various submissions and advocacy initiatives. This vital contribution helps shape the graduate research agenda in Australia and adds enormous value to students, supervisors, member institutions and our society as a whole.
We would also like to thank and congratulate those who nominated for committee and president elect positions for 2023 and beyond (see below for further detail). ACGR is certainly in good hands for the crucial work that lies ahead.
It is heartening to see that so many will be joining us in Canberra in just 11 days time. We have over 90 registered for our second ACGR National Meeting (which will take place on November 14 & 15).
We look forward to seeing many of you in person in Canberra shortly.
Best regards,
Imelda Whelehan, ACGR President
Fiona Zammit, ACGR Executive Director
