Professor Wong, a behavioural ecologist, has demonstrated outstanding leadership in building communities of HDR candidates and fostering guided ‘self-discovery’ in research. His track record includes supervising 23 successful candidates, with 70% completing within four years, resulting in over 55 publications in top-ranking international journals, numerous conference presentations and substantial external grant funding. His dedication to supervision excellence has garnered multiple university and national awards, reflecting his commitment to exceptional postgraduate education.
