2025 National Member Meeting 1 of the Australian Council of Graduate Research will be held on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April 2025 and is co-hosted by the University of Tasmania. 

There will be opportunities to reconnect and strengthen support networks amongst peers, along with time from updates from network groups and special interest groups.

Registration

Early bird registration is now open and the full program will be released in early March 2025.

Registrations are free for one primary representative of each full member organisation and at an early bird rate of $650 (ex GST) for additional delegates and all associate members. Registration includes day catering on both days and the conference dinner on Monday evening. Places are limited to no more than three delegates from each member institution.

Venue

The meeting will be held in the 103 Study Space inside the Studio Theatre on the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay Campus. The venue is 8 minutes by car from the Hobart CBD.

Registration will open at 8.30 am on Monday 28 April and the meeting will commence at 9.00 am sharp. 

Program

The full program will be available in early March 2025.

Dinner

The conference dinner and presentation of the ACGR 2025 Awards for Excellence will be on Monday evening at the WrestPoint Hotel in the Boardwalk Gallery, on the waterfront.

Accommodation

The Wrest Point Hotel is within 15 minutes walking distance of the meeting venue and several rooms have been held for delegates who choose to stay at this location. When booking, please reference ‘ACGR National Member Meeting Dinner’ to access the rates listed.

Alternately accommodation is available in the Hobart CBD, an 8-minute drive from the venue.
