The Australian Council of Graduate Research Inc proudly announces the release of new Good Practice Guidelines for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Education.
These guidelines acknowledge the crucial contribution that Indigenous graduate research candidates make to Australia’s research agenda and recognise the importance of encouraging and supporting Indigenous people to undertake HDR training.
Part of a series of ACGR Good Practice Guidelines and collaboratively developed with appreciated support and advice from the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Education Consortium (NATSIHEC), these guidelines provide credible, constructive and practical advice for candidates, supervisors, universities and other stakeholders.
In delivering and supporting research training across all parts of our wonderful country, ACGR also acknowledges traditional owners of all of the Australian lands on which we work and meet and pay our respects to their Elders – past, present and emerging.
